Hello,

I get the following error when I try and run an application.

Sat 02 Aug 2008 12:31:05 BST|SETI@home|Found app_info.xml; using anonymous platform

Sat 02 Aug 2008 12:31:05 BST|SETI@home|[error] No app version for result: i686-pc-linux-gnu 527

Any ideas,

Means SETI has no science application that will run on the platform/operating system you tell them your computer is running on.

There's definitely a SETI app for i686-pc-linux-gnu, around 157,000 people run it.

There was just some mess-up when trying to use anonymous platform. Daniel, did you reset the project after adding app_info.xml?

Another possible reason : app_info.xml is outdated and doesn't cover the current version, that is required by the results.
