Running boinc manager 5.2.5 on my Macs and it just sucks. I keep getting connection errors for no apparent reason, not to mention setting up accounts and getting everything running is a royal pain. Perhaps if some near-decent software is written, I will try to help and run boinc again.

Latest version of the Boinc software is 5.2.13, and many connection fixes were implemented between 5.2.8 and the new one. I suggest you update your Boinc and check back, please.

Regards,

Michael

I'll also point out that there is no "anti-Mac" bias. The software is very close to identical between Mac and Windows, so if you think some feature of the Mac version is, um, "less than ideal", you can be assured that it's probably the same on Windows. V5.2.13 was, of course, delayed for the Mac; the Windows and Linux versions were released first... by a whole 24 hours. Compare that to just about any software company, where the Mac version trails Windows by weeks or months, and you'll see that the Mac is a "first class citizen" here.
