Using Boinc 5.2.12, Windows 98, Proxy connection and still cannot attach to any project...
(I had no problem with the classic Setiathome)

Can you actually tell us in more detail what you are doing, what stage you are at and the actual messages you are getting from BOINC? What projects are you trying? Can you capture any messages in your BOINC Manager message window?
