Are you talking about the "Statistics" tab in BOINC Manager? If so, I believe it requires "n" connects to the server before it will show anything, which for SETI is about 3 days. CPDN is slow enough that it could be several days longer than that. Has LHC given you work? Repeatedly? If not, it won't show either.

The third-party stats sites such as BOINCSynergy and BOINCStats (and probably 100 others) read the xml files from the projects and update every few hours. Plus they give you a lot more detail than the Statistics tab does.

The CPDN (climateprediction) site stats run is every 12 hours, so credits will often show more quickly than for SETI. And the trickle-up (on which credit is awarded) is shown under your account on the website more or less immediately. But with every project actual experience may vary. SETI classic veterans will be familiar with that.

True, but the Statistics tab requires "n" _connections_ (with data, not just hitting 'update') before it STARTS showing. CPDN, once it starts, will be "up to date" - but if "n" is 5 (I don't remember what it is) then you will see nothing until you've returned 5 trickles. THAT could take a while, especially if CPDN isn't your only project. I'm almost 24 hours into a CPDN 'sulphur' WU, and haven't gotten my _first_ trickle yet, because that's only 5 hours of CPU time. I don't expect CPDN to show up in the Statistics tab for a few more days - but it's already in my sig, so the xml was updated very fast.
