Most possible reason is that BOINC is already running. Make sure you don't have two instances! |

If you start boinc for the first time, you have to start the boincmgr (./run_manager in the BOINC directory). This will force you to configure minimum one project. After you have done this (and stopped the boincmgr), you can start the boinc executable without a graphical interface... ----------- rechenaugust I just downloaded Boinc and got the following output: |
