Hope this post is going to the right place. I'd just like to request that an option be added to Boinc preferences to disable any pop-up windows or dialog boxes. I have a dial-up internet connection, so when I'm not connected to the internet, Boinc frequently pops up a notification that it can't connect to the internet, so I have to click on it to close it. I take note of project expiration dates, so the results will get uploaded, I just don't need pop-ups interfering with whatever I'm doing.

Just to clarify, I've tried these settings:
- activity -> network activity suspended
- advanced -> preferences, then set "network usage allowed" to just 1 hour a day

but I still get these notifications all day every day
