Funny how that works.

With SeaMonkey, in all projects my home.php show in UTF-8 (here it's ISO-8859-2), whereas the project master pages are sometimes UTF-8, sometimes ISO-8859-2. No content-type meta tag but still the browser chooses different charsets.

In IE it's even more random, often Windows-1252 but it switches from one charset to another when just clicking through some project pages of the same project.

Team and user profiles sometimes look OK, sometimes not, same for UOTD. Some look OK in both browsers, some only in one of them and some never look correct.

That means we do need a fixed character set (can only be UTF-8 I guess) and then people have to check their profiles and adjust them one last time.

p.s.: I didn't check all .css files, maybe they have an effect on the choosen charset.

There were either missing quotes in tra(" ... " ); or tr( ... ) should be used.
