i recently updated my boinc manager from 5.2.7 to 5.2.8. after running benchmarks, the client doesn't work anymore nad i see activities suspended-status near all my projects. i've already tried Run always in the Command menu - with no success...

Try restarting the client. It sounds like the client may have gotten stuck in the benchmarks.
