It looks to me like apostrophes are now being escaped by backslashes in displayed text. Here's a test. Do you see what I mean? The apostrophe in "Here's" looks like "\'".

I understand that this comes from inserting some protection against database injections. But this is supposed to be removed when the text is taken out of the database and displayed.

Looks like it's doing it to double quotes too. :-)

Rytis knows about it and I reopened ticket 175 for it. It's on all projects that have updated their software to the latest version. He's looking into it.

Oh, I just see he reversed the original code that he added: http://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/changeset/13588
The original change in code was done as backslashes go missing when quoting them, or when editing a post.
