Not earth shattering; just annoying. And maybe this problem exists only on my computer. I've adjusted the BOINC Manager window position and the size of the individual columns under the various tabs. If I exit out of BOINC Manager and then fire it up again -- or reboot the computer -- the BOINC Manager window size is shortened (horizontally). I then have to resize the window. Closing BOINC Manager gracefully (File | Exit) has at least kept the column widths "sticky" from one reboot to the next. Any ideas about the app window size? Thank you. LSG |

This has been a continuing problem with BOINC (and many windows programs). Using file->exit will sometimes save the settings but is not reliable. BOINC WIKI BOINCing since 2002/12/8 |

That works for me as long as I don't reboot the computer - a lot to ask for a Windows XP box! I have desktop machine and a laptop, neither of which ever preserves window width of BOINC Manager after a reboot, even after a file/ exit. |

Well, the good news is that this is not a problem unique to my computer. Thanks to all for replying. The sad news <sigh> is that this is not a problem unique to my computer... LSG |

Ah, I had this problem just crop up, with the latest upgrade of the Boinc Manager to 6.2.14 (Running on Windows XP Professional). The previous release did not display this, er, feature. Simon Well, the good news is that this is not a problem unique to my computer. Thanks to all for replying. |
