Good day everyone, I've returned to using BOINC and returned to a few of the old projects that I had been working on in the past. It had been switching between projects with no problem until the last day and a half. For the last 40 hours my BOINC Manager hasn't switch between the different projects. I have the time that they are to be worked on divided evenly between all the projects but there is no switching occurring now. I'm using Boinc Manager 5.8.16. Thank you for you help in advance. What projects are you attached to, what work is currently on your computer, when are the deadlines and how long does BOINC think it will take? Kathryn :o) |

What projects are you attached to, what work is currently on your computer, when are the deadlines and how long does BOINC think it will take? The problem seems to have gone away with the installation of BOINC Manager 5.10.13 but unfortunately it also deleted all the work that I had been doing prior to the installation. I am attached to the following projects, Einstien@home, 65 hours to complete, 8/8 Predictor@home, 20 hours to complete, 8/18 QMC@home, 48 hours to complete, 8/4 Rosetta@home, 7 hours to complete, 7/31 The Rosetta project has already completed a WU since installing the new BOINC Manager. Thank you for your help, Warren Rogers |

How did you upgrade BOINC? Did it somehow get installed to a different directory? It shouldn't have, because the installer should be able to find the old directory. Strange. I've updated more times than I can count, and I've never seen my entire installation disappear. Maybe do a search for boinc.exe and see if there is more than one copy and note the location(s)?
