I know you can put linux on a PS3, would it run BOINC?
My PS3 sits unused most of the time, this might be a way to put it to good use.

Or maybe someone can port BOINC over to the PS3 and Xbox 360

BOINC is already being ported over to the PS3. See my signature and look for the PS3GRID project.

In addition to PS3GRID, I have successfully crunched SETI and SIMAP on my PS3.
