Any project could add this very simply... or you can add it yourself to your own copy, which obviously isn't going to accomplish what is desired. But; if you edit account_whateverproject.xml, you will see a section < gui_urls > - add the following just before the < ifteam > line:

    <gui_url>
        <name>BOINC Wiki</name>
        <description>Get information on any BOINC topic</description>
        <url>http://boinc-doc.net/boinc-wiki/index.php</url>
    </gui_url>

That'll do it!

I agree, a link to Paul Buck's Unofficial BOINC Wiki would be a useful addition to the Boinc welcome page, especially timely now that we're seeing the onset of a mass influx of SetiClassic people who are having a ton of problems figuring out how to configure the "complicated" world of BOINC. These dedicated, eager, and experienced crunchers should be assisted by any means at hand to assimilate themselves and continue their long-term contributions. Let's help break down the walls for them. How about it?
