Both Einstien and Seti are requesting 0 seconds, Einstein uploaded the last work unit 04.23am UK time (7 1/2 hours ago) Seti has 1 work unit awaiting upload, failed upload started at 04.50, is there a problem with boinc?

seti has been down for a week, came up for a day and it appears to be back down for the moment. So, Seti will once again be swamped for requests when it comes back up.

To answer your question about Einstein will take more information. There are a variety of reasons why your client isn't asking for more work from Einstein. Things we will need to know to answer your question are: boinc version; what projects, other than seti and Einstein are you running; what are your resource shares for all the projects; what is your "connect to" setting?

One other note. Boinc can not be "up" nor "down". Boinc is only the platform for the projects. Each individual project is autonomous. The projects do not rely upon the BOINC server being active to carry out business. The only function that the BOINC server has is to run this forum, host the main boinc page and related sub-pages, and the boinc download page. Once the BOINC client is downloaded off the server, its job is finished.

He is using Boinc 4.45 and has been pointed to the new work scheduler already over on the Seti forums. I should know, I did so. ;)
