I installed BOINC today at work on DSL, two projects, both with screensavers. I re-booted to be sure they worked (I quit WorldCommunityGrid on this machine because they stopped working).

Now, at home, I boot up, no screensavers.

Any constructive advice?

did you install as a service? If so, the screensaver's won't work. THere is a workaround, but it's slightly less secure than running under a user account I believe:

Computer Management > Services > BOINC > Properties > Log-on > Local System Account + Let this service interact with desktop.

I was already on that thread. In fact, I think I started it.
I can not get rid of the blinking. I have checked my video driver, virus scan, all the stuff one thinks of. Obviously, I am missing something.
