I installed Ubuntu 7.04 on my system and have been running the BOINC Manager 5.8.16 with success. I wanted to switch to Xubuntu to speed things up a bit. I`m now getting this message in terminal and no BOINC Manager to speak of....

Skin Manager: Failed to parse static line color. Using default.
Skin Manager: Application name was not defined. Using default.
Skin Manager: Failed to load application logo. Using default.
Skin Manager: Company name was not defined. Using default.
Skin Manager: Company web site was not defined. Using default.

Skin Manager: Attach to project wizard title was not defined. Using default.

.... I can log into the Ubuntu interface and hopefully everything is still in tact. I trust that it is. One thing I noticed is that the CPU load meter in Xubuntu is indicating 100% so perhaps the client is running after all. I`m not sure.

Well I toggled the session back to Ubuntu and now I get the same result. I ran a command line to execute the client. According to the System Monitor, it is BOINC that's using most of the processor, but how do I see exactly what it's doing at this point? Thanks.

Sorry. I really have no idea. Hopefully someone more familiar with BOINC on Linux will stop by tomorrow.
