Message board moderation

As everyone may have noticed, there have been some problems with the anti-spam check lately. Things like you and us being unable to post legitimate links to other projects and one spammer being able to post his porn unhindered on these boards. The administrators are on top of it though. And so are we, the moderators. If you see something out of order anyway, please use the red-X to report it to us. We'll come delete the post and ban the perpetrator's account then. ;-) (Although it seems to be broken, no emails coming on a red-x either... see below) Then there's that new PM system. You can send Private Messages to everyone on the forums, including to yourself. Any PMs sent should give out an email to the address you registered with, but there seems to be a hiccup in the email part of the server for the moment. The administrators are on top of that as well. Another thing they'll probably fix soon is the missing name of these forums. Although I quite like the $PROJECT forums. :-D And what about all those search boxes? Well... that's a hint. LOL If you find anything else that's strange, don't hesitate to post it here. |

For the time being, the afore-mention red-x seems to have disappeared: as have the message numbers, date and time stamps. (though strangely, all of the above are visible while I'm typing this on the 'post a reply' screen - it's just when browsing they all disappear). |

All visible to me... but for the typo. ;) Oooh, went in with IE and see what you mean. It's reported to the person in charge. And too bad... the $PROJECT is no more. :-( |

Headers and footers still not visible here. The new version (with private messageing) has been deployed at SETI, but we're getting errors: Warning: mysql_fetch_object(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /disks/setifiler1/home/boincadm/projects/sah/html/inc/forum.inc on line 578 so it looks like an 'include' file hasn't been copied. |

Cool. The error message was cleared within a minute of posting here. |
