So 5.9.x allows one to select multiple tasks. Yes! The biggest complaint I have would be solved by this. That complaint is being able to abort or suspend multiple tasks at once. This will only become more of a problem over time as processors become more powerful, and queues get larger to cover the same period of time.

The current problem is that one can't do anything with the tasks when multiple items are selected, as the buttons gray out.

So what is the game plan here? Why allow multiple tasks to be selected if you can't do anything with them? I have to assume that at some point in the future, the buttons won't be grayed out. When? What is the schedule?
