okay heres the deal i had to reinstall windows so i lost my screensaver for boinc but i still have the prog on the computer and it still runs like a charm...any way to reinstall just the screensaver into windows without a total reinstall?

Just choose BOINC as your screen saver in the display properties.

lol i wish it was that easy but i dont even get the option, the boinc screen saver option was deleted from the computer so its not an available option

You could install 5.8.16 on top of your existing installation?

Either a repair install of the current version or an over the top install of the current release.


What version of BOINC was it?

try dumping the boinc.scr file back into c:\windows. You should be able to extract the file from the BOINC download...
