How can I add the World Community Grid project to my Bonic stats? All my other projects come up, but not that one... http://www.boincstats.com/stats/boinc_user_graph.php?pr=bo&id=af8b4ea3fb39c37ab6b124d8f61bc4cb |

Is your email address used the same as on the other projects? Are you on the same team as on the others? That's the two things BOINCStats want to be the same, so your CPID is always the same. Not that I believe it, as my nickname is different on one project and when I check my nickname (the one I use here), it comes up with two old CPIDs, none of which are in use. ;-) Anyway, check if your CPID for all projects is the same. CPID stands for Cross-Project IDentifier. For BOINC the only need is that your email address is the same at all projects you are attached to. If you have problems with yours, best post on the BOINCStats forums. |

Thanks Email address is different. No teams. So, that means I cannot add my WCG stats to Boinc? Or would there be a way to change my email address either on Boinc or WCG so I can add my stats there? |

You can change your email address on Boinc, and I'm sure you'd be able to change it on WCG too. |

Change your email address on WCG to the same one as you used on the other projects. It can then take between 2 days and 2 weeks to turn up. Usually 2 days though. ;-) |

When I change the email address am I going to lose all my current points? |

When I change the email address am I going to lose all my current points? Nope. I just did this. Changed my email on 30+ projects and all my credits are intact. Now if my CPID would only converge.... Kathryn :o) |

Ok Great, will your CPID ever converge? It's getting better. I started with 6. I was down to 3. But on checking BOINC Stats, I'm back up to 4. It'll be a while for me (and not because I'm chaotic ::bops Jord on the head::) because LHC (and I think RenderFarm and maybe even ABC Beta) isn't exporting stats. Without a stats dump, CPID can't update. That and I forgot to update WCG, which I just did, but I'll have to attach to get that to take affect. Kathryn :o) |

Within 2 days of changing my email and attaching to WCG, that has made its way over to the correct CPID. LHC and ABC Beta are on their own because LHC isn't exporting stats and somehow I missed ABC Beta when changing my email. PrimeGrid, Ralph, Renderfarm and ABC are on their own. I went ahead and attached to Ralph and ABC just to see if I can force them to switch over to the right one. PrimeGrid created my CPID headaches in the first place... Kathryn :o) |

CPID that migrates among projects is just (rather big) random number. However, when it is exported into XML for stats, it is hashed with email address. |
