I queried one of the primary's on The Ramanujan Machine regarding them not having a Linux application. The following is the response that I received. --------------- Hi Bill, Thank you for your interest. We would like to adopt the existing windows application to Linux (since the actual code is all Python that is then compiled, wrapped, signed, etc.) - but unfortunately, to put it bluntly, we lack the skill set. There is no one on the current team who has Linux knowledge. If you would like to create it (with the associated BOINC configurations) and test it yourself, based on the git, we would be happy to assist as we can and upload+make the necessary changes server-side once it's ready. Michael (Michael Shalyt) ------------------------------- Is their someone in our BOINC crunching community with the skill set that wants to assist them ? Bill Freauff |

I'd love if a Linux version was made. Most of my compute is under Linux so it's taking quite some time to reach credit goals for this project with only Windows. |
