Ok here we go again. I had switch from the distros or official BOINC to flatpaks as several PC's would do the "don't care what you set "Run based on preferences" to, I would have to set Run Always to run or suspend to stop if, no matter what settings I tried. Flatpaks worked with Linux Mint and Garuda. So with the recommendation to install boinc podman-docker (as some projects need it) and others seem to gearing to start using it, I tried running it on several PC's. Well all but the Windows 11 PC fail to follow the "Computing Preferences" setting. As in won't stop unless Suspended is checked and won't start unless Run Always is checked.
