I remember your username from the SiDock forums. Secondary backups are a must! I look forward to the project moving forward with eBola & Covid research and keeping data open. SiDock going down left BOINC with essentially zero active, functioning biological projects IMO. Perhaps WCG can gain consistent reliability and performance before the year is over. Bio-project WCG/SiDock/Rosetta cruncher whale ~320 Optiplex/Prodesk undervolted SFFs majority on WIFI. That reminds me the anecdotes i had heard about RAID 1 with two disks having the same age and thus failing at exactly the same moment. Of course i doubt it is RAID 1 we are talking about.
