Boinc : 8.0.2 : Boinc connection error : Invalid client RPC password. Try reinstalling BOINC. Hello! I have been trying to fix this error for some time, unfortunately without success. I have also tried to write a password in this file but it does not seem to be recognized. I am also a member of the Boinc group and that too without success. What I encountered again and again was /var/lib/boinc-client/, this folder does not exist for me. I can't find a directory called boinc-client anywhere. The file gui_rpc_auth.cfg is located in /var/lib/boinc. I have also tried rebooting but it didn't work. I'm slowly running out of ideas. Who can tell me why Boinc only runs as a flatpak but not as a separate installation? Many thanks in advance.
