Make BOINC abort projects that past there deadline even if it's in the middle of work.
I seen projects about before it runs a project. But BOINC should never have gotten the projects before when BOINC should process better.
Extra days of work should not have have problems when you go past a day or more.
Apparently BOINC needs to do benchmarks on GPUs since this work is running on a AND 7700X iGPU.
Needs to improve on the algorithm on to not get to much work where it can't finish on time.
BOINC is a set it and forget it. But I don't see that here.

BOINC is a set it and forget it. But I don't see that here.

Part of this is down to the individual projects who estimate how much computation (as opposed to time) the tasks require. BOINC doesn't as far as I know however record how many hours a day the user has their computer on for and adjust accordingly. There are a lot of other variables that are down to the user.

There are projects where set and forget is fine. My main one happens to be one where that is not such a good idea.

It would be good if the projects list you see when signing up gave some hints about which ones this applies to.
