Looks very interesting, but until the project shows up on the official BOINC Science projects page, as well as the different stats pages, I'm not going to join the project.

After having a mail conversation with Jay, on the project, I decided to join the project. New work probably at the end of this week.

10-days of total silence from the team. No new work despite having promised new work at the end of last week.
Still not added to the BOINC list of Science projects, or to BoincStats.

Seems appropriate given the name of the project.

Post on forum today saying they want to sort out some more of the errors crunchers are experiencing before releasing more work.

Wow! Thanks again to everyone for posting their issues, questions and feedback.

Here's where we are as we transition to the holidays:

We've been able to prepare data for a lot more work... to the tune of about 100,000 jobs.

However, as we read some of the more detailed feedback from the experienced contributors, we realized we had missed some really important BOINC-specific steps when developing our initial analysis code.

We've already been working on implementing those steps, but most of the team is on their way to family and friends for the holidays. We'll pick this up next year.

Though while much less important, we do think we've fixed the various website, team and forum issues.

We wish everyone a joyous holiday season and Happy New Year!

This is awesome! Love Genome sequencing as a BOINC application, and these moonshot projects are exactly where volunteer computing can be most helpful.

I've added the project to my crunching list. As others have said, it would be great to add this project to the default projects list in BOINC. I hope the BOINC admins are being helpful to you here!

This forum is about BOINC issues. Issues with projects and their web sites & are things you need to ask them about.

Yes, same frustration here, despite multiple posts on their forum, no response...!

I just sent an E-mail directly to Jay on the DoDo team.
Let's see if I get any answer,

Spoiler: he will not get an answer.

I did get an answer, but unfortunately I'm not at liberty to share the information at the moment.
However, keep an eye on the DoDo page in the coming days. The team will post an update.

Is that a "you and me few days", or a "WCG few days"?
