I have an issue with the Manager crashing repeatedly used in WINE. (Once current work is finished I am likely to do all Windows work in VM especially if I can't sort this out.) The manager when launched at present shows the statistics page. I can go through the different statistics options but as soon as I try to go to tasks, projects or Disk tab the manager crashes.
I would like to be able to modify the (client_state.xml file to get the manager to open up in tasks view.

1. Is client_state.xml the file I should be looking at and
2. What exactly should I be looking for?

Edit: client continues to run without issues.
Ubuntu24.10 BOINC8.0.4 wine-9.19 (Staging)

Workaround:
Fresh install of BOINC on VM and copy BOINC data folder to VM Project update hasn't killed the tasks.
