I had to recreate my account here, since it was deleted recently.
I had not posted here yet, and the account was maybe a month old. So I wonder if accounts with no posts get deleted automatically after a while?
I don't post much, only use it to keep track of threads I have visited, and follow.

We don't delete accounts. Not even of spammers, those are just disabled.

Not heard of that issue but if it is one your having posted will resolve it for you. As it is the BOINC server software I suspect not. There are a number of project forums using the same software that I have been a member of for years without having ever posted.

Having said we don't remove accounts, I checked the list of users earlier and found it was taken over by spammers, so I sent a note to David Anderson. He's deleted those accounts, but is now also doing a purge on accounts that were made over the years but that have no posts to them. These number over a million and are just taking up database space and resources.

So now postless accounts are being deleted.

Do not feel alone this is second place my acc went puff . I had to make a new acc with same email . My password thing says I made a acc Apr 24, 2014 . Kind of think its tied to WCG losing my acc too . Here and there are only 2 that I know of as of now . Some of the places I use to crunch for are no longer around .
