boinc, with the manager AND via command line produces a zombie (see below).

Which BOINC version and did you report this behaviour on the WCG forums as well?

sorry, i forgot, but BOINC 5.8.8 of course.

I'm using an iBook G4 Mac OS 10.4.8 (darwin8.8.0).

and yes i reported it on wcg forum
