Hello, I had been using BOINC for some days (22nd of October), and recently (26th of October), I got a permanent suspension from the game League Of Legends for "use of third party software", my first thought was that it could have been a simple error, but after speaking with the support, it seems that the game thinks of BOINC as something that could modifiy League's files, however I know that it can not do this because the folder in which the game and BOINC are contained are completely unrelated to one another. Do you guys think it would've been the cause of all this ? |

I've never heard of it. And if it would've happened before, I would think someone would have complained, here, or in Reddit, or directly at the developers in Github. I've just done a quick search in Reddit and Github and found nothing. I don't have to search here, as it's never been asked before. What files does the game think BOINC can edit? |

What files does the game think BOINC can edit? I have no idea since they want to keep their review process "confidential", some friends told me it may be because it was using a lot of GPU/CPU or saving a lot of data to the disk then sending it back, but the support seems very stubborn on this subject and even trying to get the slightest hint about what has caused it doesn't help. |

No, me neither. What you can try though is ask the developers at https://github.com/BOINC/boinc/issues if they can be of help, with giving you data on what files BOINC (and science applications) writes, writes to and such, that you can send back to the Tech Support at LOL to get your account there back. |
