Well, WCG website lasted 8 days or so, but now it's down again.

Forum with the following error:

SRVE0255E: A WebGroup/Virtual Host to handle /forums/wcg/listrecentthreads has not been defined.

SRVE0255E: A WebGroup/Virtual Host to handle www.worldcommunitygrid.org:443 has not been defined.

And the main page with the usual error:

System error
World Community Grid is currently experiencing an unexpected error. Please check Facebook or Twitter for more information.

Edit: and only minutes later, it's all back again.

Supply of work seems to have dried up again.

WCG website is down since a couple of hours.

The usual:

I have nine MCM tasks that have been ready to report for three days.

Same here - about 2 dozen WUs on different machines.
Another strange thing: I have now 3482 Resuts in the list.
The oldest entry (marked as "valid") is from 2023-11-24 16:06:00 UTC.

WCG is back(ish)

The weekend seems to have started early again.

If WCG was a V12 engine, one could say that it's only running on a couple of cylinders. Still plenty of issues, and old issues keeps coming back, and has to be "solved" again, and again.
No problems for me though, since I also run my computers on just a few "cylinders", and only 1 computer at the time, and absolutely not 24/7.

Take your time WCG. It's just a hobby for me.

After a long break, finally crunching some tasks for WCG again.

Yeah, the site is down. At least the BOINC part of WCG is still working.
Since the team, as well as the data center isn't working until December 27, at the earliest, I doubt we will see the return of the site anytime soon.

I'm not that surprised though, that this happened, just after the team went home for Christmas.

Thank you Paul - good suggestions, especially as our resources are diminishing. I will prepare the update and the updated web page - but briefly; as of Oct 31, 2023 we have received CDN 9,559,40 in donations.Thank you to all volunteers who donate more than CPU/GPU resources.

Bare minimum operation is 2 technical and 1 communication staff.

We are working on a few new strategies for ensuring WCG survives - and we should know in about a month time the preliminary results. This would modify how big deficit we would need to fill.

The WCG site is down, with the usual "System error". I do not know when it went down though. Nowadays, I seldom visit the site, or crunch any tasks.
My BOINC is shut down, so I haven't got a clue if the BOINC part of WCG works.

From the BOINC client side everything looks normal for WCG. Site can be accessed and Windows client can communicate with Project.
