Tomorrow is Friday again. Let's see if my suspicions about how they handle sending out "new" tasks during weekends proves correct.
Did someone make a mistake? My job-cache was still full after a weekend away.

There was no new tasks at all sent out over the weekend. New work (MCM _0 and_1 for example) stopped Friday just before 17:00 hours
Toronto time. My last new MCM was Friday 19:57:07 UTC. New SCC work lasted a bit longer. After that it was only resends going out, until
even those dried up on Saturday. New MCM work dried up almost at the same time as the WCG team went home for the weekend.

However relatively early Monday, they started to send out lots of new work. There's plenty of complaints in many threads on the WCG
forum that nobody got any new tasks over the weekend. Also resends were very scarce this weekend. Most peoples caches became
totally dry.

Well.....
On their Face Plant page the headlines are:
The WCG website is currently down as the datacentre where our servers reside must perform an emergency reboot. This reboot only impacts the website, and will last about 30 minutes.

This was posted three hours ago (as I type), and that's a lot more than 30 minutes.........

Maybe they should have said, "30 hours?" or even "30 days?"

Faceache now has the following,
We are aware that the WCG website is still down following yesterday's reboot. We are in communication with the data centre and will continue to provide updates as we gain more information.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Workflow seems to have resumed however.

The latest on their Faceache page.
Forums and user login will not work until the data center is able to resolve an ongoing issue with the website database server. At this time the admins have been able to resolve issues with all other affected servers. We were informed that a 30 minute downtime would be required for emergency maintenance of the cloud yesterday, and afterwards additional issues presented and the webserver has not been able to communicate with the website database server since then. We will be in a position to stand up a second instance of the website database to provide some redundancy in case of similar circumstances in the future, once this situation is resolved. We apologize again for the inconvenience.

Another way to say "We don't have any redundancy in our current setup. It's all or nothing right now, but is something we're considering for the future."
