BOINC natively uses: TCP port 80 and 443 to attach to projects. TCP port 31416 for communicating on localhost only between the daemon, the GUI and the screen saver. If you are behind a proxy server, use the proxy options. If that doesn't answer it, please tell what you were asking for. |

2#question, how can a window Manager connect to a linux client. A manager on any OS can connect to a core client on any OS, it's not different. Advanced / Select computer... / type hostname and password and you're done |
