I'm using BOINC 7.16.21 on Mac and I've enabled the setting that says "suspend when computer is on battery". However, when I unplug the laptop from power and run on battery, WUProp continues to run, even though all other tasks stop. Strangely, the "elapsed" time stops ticking even though it says "Running", but the percentage does go up slowly; leave it long enough and it will complete.

There's not much use in it running when everything else is suspended, as its whole purpose is to collect stats about the other running Boinc programs. I suspect it's still running because it's listed as "non-CPU-intensive".

How do I make it so that Boinc stops ALL tasks automatically when I'm on battery, not just the "CPU-intensive" tasks?

'Non compute intensive' projects are deliberately left running. One of the earliest projects in this category was the Quake Catcher Network: earthquakes don't always happen when you're conveniently close to a power outlet.

It's untidy, I agree, but I don't think it'll be worth the effort to further sub-divide this category.
