Finally got my 3 Android tasks (2 MCM & 1 OPN) to complete downloading after many unsuccessful retries.

ARP tasks, I am getting a total download speed of less than 50KB/s. In danger of tasks timing out before they have even downloaded!

Slight exaggeration, but three hours between first task starting and the last of thirteen finishing downloading. Guessing there were a lot of people waiting for the ARP tasks.

My 2 Android device have been trying to download "stuck" files for Mapping Cancer Marker for past 9 1/2 hours. Keep hitting the retry transfer button with no success.

WCG's website is slow as molasses to initial load, opening forums timed out twice in last few minutes and of no help.

Can't remote control them with Efmers BOINC Tasks on desktop PC any longer since my ISP forced a "upgraded" swap my modem/router about 2 months ago. Tried all sorts of settings changes on router and BOINC Tasks with no luck.

BOINC Android needs a screen for advanced users that can show what files are stuck.

* Edit to add the stuck Tasks finally downloaded while posting.

Same with ARP tasks for my PC. Also getting more than a few failed downloads with file size error. I think this is probably more server problems rather than the files themselves but my post there hasn't received any answer yet.

Yeah, website very dead. It has become the new normal, that it goes down at least once every day.
Doesn't bother me much though, since I only crunch one or two tasks/day, due to high electricity cost.
I only crunch WCG, and I have no problems getting my one or two tasks/day.

Where OK means on ARP tasks having to click retry on downloads a lot.

Two children playing on a seesaw has fewer up and downs than WCG.

Not to bothered about the website as I am getting tasks at the moment. It would be nice if I could download them at something like the rate my bored band could manage though.

The child sitting on the wcg end of the seesaw is much heavier than the one on the other end.

Here's an update thread started Nov. 10. Some folks are seeing significant improvements.

Not me, within last 30 minutes finally got my 3 Mapping Cancer Marker tasks on Android to complete the nearly 12 hours timed out transfers.

I’m seeing a big improvement, throughput up 60% with no manual retries.

Yesterday ARP tasks were still needed retries from me. Currently cores are filled with CPDN tasks from a batch that lasted long enough to go out for an anniversary meal but were all gone this morning bar the retreads.
