My BOINC manager is adding projects that I did not add, and changing settings that I did not change. Just today the Number Fields project appeared in my list. I did not add it, and I don't particularly want it there. The projects I do want (Einstein, Milkyway, Universe) have all switched to "won't get new tasks." This keeps happening. I manually switch to "allow new tasks" and it switches back.

I do not like this Sam I Am. What's going on?

My primary project (World Community Grid) has stopped updating but that's probably unrelated.

Did you join BOINC through BOINC, or through Science United?
If the later, then it's NOT up to you to decide what happens.

I've been using BOINC since SETI made me switch over. I did just recently join Science United. But I don't really remember how I did it. That makes sense though. Thank you.
