Even offering money or sex didn't help. :-( The twisters stayed away from where I am, closest one was maybe 80 km. away. The word "shit" may apply to the quality of boxes I have but definitely not "shit-load" quantified. Me, myself and I just have the two anymore to play with. I don't know; money and sex are usually pretty powerful attractants. To me it seems that perhaps there is an overabundance of BOINC related forums, and also Seti seems to be a gravity well when it comes to forum participation. I'll have to think about it... Soon after the launch of the BBC Climate Change Experiment, I received a private message from cpdn Oxford asking if I'd like to appear on BBC TV to tell the public what running a climate model was like. I got the message at 10.30 pm and the programme was Breakfast TV live in London at 7.00 am the next morning. As I don't even live in London I had to refuse this once-only offer of fame. Instead of me they found a BBC-cpdn Londoner newbie who made the experiment look and sound real fun. Having refused what seemed an unreasonable offer, have I closed the door on all the reasonable offers as well? ID: 10092 ·
