In the next edition of the boinc manager would it be possible to enable a way to arrange the order that the projects appear? It's kinda silly I know but when I update the projects I like certain ones to be looked at first. With dialup it gets kinda time consuming when I have to click this one here wait for it to be acknowledged then click on the next one I want...

You mean a sort option on the columns?
It's still to be implemented. A work around for the moment is to exit BOINC and restart it. Then everything is shown in alphabetical order.

Also, to have all projects with deferring times (in Projects tab) communicate with their home server, go Advanced->Retry communications. This will put all those projects asking for work, trying to report work (or upload it), in a queue to do their comms works.

This seems to work to sort the project URLs, but does not sort the project (description?) under the project tab.
