Republican and commie, one in the same.Better than being a Commie. The real golden rule is "it's only illegal if you're caught".How Republican. How so? In the US the 0.1%ers rule the country, through lobbying and SuperPACs In Communist countries the oligarchs run the country. Oligarch definition - "an oligarch is a "member of an oligarchy; a person who is part of a small group holding power in a state" |

Republican and commie, one in the same.Better than being a Commie. The real golden rule is "it's only illegal if you're caught".How Republican. How so? Well, little things like having a near chokehold on the media. Controlling what is posted on Twitter, Facebook, etc., and removing posters and posts that express opinions they do not favor. Taxing the heck out of the rich so they can give it to their liberal friends and illegal immigrants. Making millions of illegal immigrants citizens with a snap of their fingers to turn them into democratic voters for life. Taking control of our energy sector by presidential edict to force their 'green agenda' forward, regardless of the negative impact on our country. Ya know, little things like that. |

How so? As opposed to having a media controlled by those with lots of money or who spend millions of dollars to try and convince people that climate change isn't real, just as they tried to convince people lead in petrol didn't harm children etc. I admit to agreeing with you about the nomenclature but I would rate the Trump administration as more corrupt than any of the marginally further left administrations the US has had in my lifetime. |

All right. If you want to do politics in this thread, then don't complain about politics being done in this sub-forum when you find it elsewhere. And as politics go, they'll be heated. But make notice of the warning I put in the other thread, flamers and baiters will get Barn Owl's vacation vouchers to spend in our penal colony in NK (that's Nether Kellet for the uninitiated). It's only up to you if you want to and for how long that is. So, want to discuss politics? Fine. But keep it civil. And if you can't, then just don't discuss politics. |

The Portable Wireless Electronic Digital Rotary Telephone (aka Rotary Cellphone) Device Image is in linked article. “This is a statement against a world of touchscreens, hyperconnectivity, and complacency with big brother watchdogs,” Haupt writes on her website. |

Different platforms, different rules. Did you know that some YouTube contributors have had their material taken down, not because of the content they put up but because of the comments others have posted? Now that is crazy! |

At least one of the videos that was blocked/dropped was not of/by kids, but of someone building a racing engine and the poster obviously upset someone by doing so in the way he was going about it. Shame it vanished there was some useful information there. Quite a number of YouTube uploaders will turn off comments when they are expecting people to be "abrasive" in their response, again this can happen on technical threads where two strong differing minds have clashed in the comments on previous occasions. And it can be a pain if one has a serious question to ask the poster. |

Who knows what goes through the minds of the various algorithms :-( Still, I found the information I was looking for and someone I know in Switzerland can continue rebuilding his latest Audi A6 so it will be ready for a blast up to the Nordschleife later this year. It's a nice day out, I do the long haul drive, then a couple of others do a few laps, and I drive back to Neuchâtel. (I spend nearly as much time doing the ~120km across Switzerland as I do the 420ish in Germany - thank goodness that the Autobahn are still basically limit free, unlike the road elsewhere in Europe. |
