Hi,

You've probably heard this before, but are updated versions coming for BOINC for Linux on the Download page?

I've installed BOINC on my PC (running Linux Mint 19.2) from the Software Manager and even that is version 7.9.3. I removed BOINC Manager and am using boinctui as I found the GUI manager to be buggy, as in not always connecting on bootup.

Thanks!

That looks like what I want!!! What's the best way to install the .deb packages? I only really want boinc-client and boinc-manager.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:costamagnagianfranco/boinc
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt install boinc

Then it will list the packages that it would like to install (or upgrade) and perhaps some suggested packages. Them are all just the basic stuff, nothing suspicious.
