Hi, I am using a RPi for running Boinc Manager. It works fine. Nevertheless, if I try to run Boinc Manager using VNCServer in RPi and using Screen Sharing in MacOS, any window from Boinc Manager is appearing. I am doing this because I want to keep up and running my RPi far away from my location and using VCNServer I can control apps from RPi (it works fine with other apps) Is there any configuration that I need to do in VNCServer in order to be able to manage Boinc remotely? Thanks |

Why not use the Boinccmd tool from the command line? Is perhaps easier than trying to figure out how to get necessary X-server parts to run via VNC. https://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/Boinccmd_tool |

There is BOINCtasks, see efmer.com. You can use it to control BOINC on multiple machines. It’s great when you have headless (ie no keyboard or screen) computers. No need to install remote access software like VNC, BOINC manager or X11. MarkJ |
