Now the Boinc Manager can only show the credit you have gained in every project. It is not very convenient for users to know what the total credit and Recent average credit is. To get it, I have got to use a calcurator or run calc.exe. I am wondering if the next version of boinc can provide this function to show it. I'm looking forward to your reply, thanks. ps: My English is bad, so this topic may not be easy to understand. |

What do you think stats sites like this are for? :) Do you think to click the icon of ie, then selete the "favourite" and "boincstats" quicker and more convenient than simply click the icon of boinc manager? |

And the credits showed on stats sites are not realtime. Neither are the ones in Boinc Manager, for that matter. |

And additionally Boinc Manager can show only credits from projects, crunched by "that" computer. What about other projects, crunched by other computers? (Yes I know, not necessarily your case, majority of users will probably crunch on one computer and would appreciate the totals.) For instance, BoincView is also counting only totals for the monitored computers, not for the whole user, but still at least. Give it a try, maybe you'll like it. Peter |

Only feature i can think of as missing is a column in the BOINC projects tab that shows last date/time stamp of contact. Now you have to rummage around in the message tab, then return to the project tab and hit update....or just update. Why not just let Amanheis know? Maybe he'll find the idea appealing? Quite good idea I think, if I want to know it now, I have to open Boinc Manager and check the tiny circles in graphs. Precision worse than 1 day. Rom posted an interesting view on the overhead associated with that. Unfortunately offline now :-( Peter |

For instance, BoincView is also counting only totals for the monitored computers, not for the whole user... Just realized, in the Projects tab, if "Summarize by" - "Project name" is selected, the "User credits" and "Avg. user credits" are displaying the requested total (and RAC) for the whole user! (Sure for all projects visible to BoincView.) Peter |
