There's a column called Resource Share on the projects tab. How do I change the resource share for a project? They're all set to 100 and I want to cut back some projects that are hogging resources. I'm running BOINC Manager 7.9.3 on Ubuntu 18.04.

The displayed value is just what is in your Account page for that project. (Under: Preferences for this project)
Change it there.

And it's only a long term average. Don't expect an instant change in the work you get.
