At present, teams can only be searched by providing the initial part. I think it will be a great feature to enable looking up team by giving any part of the team name. For example, to find a team in accord with '...@China' style, we just need to input the 'China' keyword.
Anyway, I wish that wouldn't put much pressure to server;)

I also want to see this. We are the biggest team in Australia (BOINC@Australia), but can't be found because our name does not start with "Australia".

I'd like to see the setup for the team search changed to "Search for teams whose name contains" and also add a link to "top teams in [country]" where [country] is a dropdown selector with country names.

The patch to search anywhere in the name has been checked in, now you should wait for the projects to update the website code.

Also, an alphabetical list of teams within each category. People can't browse for a team that fits them best, and only the top teams within a category are easy to find by searching through rankings
