The Fire TV is an android device. I figure I could let my Fire TV work on boinc projects while I sleep and also while I'm not at home. I sideloaded the boinc app (version 7.4.53) onto my Fire TV, and unselected the preference of pausing computation when the screen is on because of the way the Fire TV works, it doesn't allow apps to do things in the background. I was planning on obviously leaving the Fire TV on, and turning the TV screen off while it's running. The problem is that on the Fire TV, at the bottom, it says "waiting for battery to cool down". It always says that. The device is not hot, and I don't think anything is wrong... it just always says that. Is there anything I can do? |

Open BOINC on the device->Preferences->check "Show Advanced Preferences and Controls->check Max. Battery Temperature and if need be lower that. |
