I upgraded Boinc manager to 5.4.9 on OS X. Since then the tasks window has reported a status of activities suspended for the two projects I'm running (SETI and Einstein). I've never encountered this with previous versions of Boinc. Any suggestions to get the tasks running? |

Unsuspend :-) Easier said than done, there are three different ways of suspending. * Go to the work/tasks tab, and select the suspended work unit. If there is a button called 'resume', then click it once. * Go to the project tab, and select the suspended project. If 'project suspended' appears in italics against the project name, then click the resume button. * Go to the activity menu, and see if 'suspend' has a dot next to it. If so, then click on 'run always'. The third is usually the best suspend/unsuspend option to use, since the others can result in new work units downloading to your PC unexpectedly. |

Thank you Mike for your suggestions. I have tried options 1 and 2 with no success. Option 3 has me sightly puzzled. Where is the activity menu? Do you mean right clicking on the icon in the Dock or is it a PC thing (I'm running a Mac)? In previous versions of Boinc, right clicking on the icon in the Dock brought up an option to run always or suspend. This new version does not have these options. The only option is sleep and the problem presists if sleep is on or off. |

I'm running version 5.6.9 Mac OS X universal. Where is this Activities menu? Is it a PC menu or a Mac menu? |

It should be part of the Boinc manager (certainly not a part of Windows!). I have no idea what the Mac boinc manager user interface contains. |

Wasn't 5.6.9 actually broken, reporting always a false suspend state? Updating to a newer version should fix that in this case. |
