Please use normal case when posting questions. ALL CAPS is considered shouting on internet.

You can only run two results (of 1 project, or two projects) at the same time if you have multiple CPUs. Multiple CPUs are Pentiums with Hyperthreading capability, or multi-core CPUs or just more than one CPU plugged in on the motherboard.

If you have 1 CPU that can't do hyperthreading, you only run 1 result at the same time. BOINC will switch between projects as per your preferences.

If you do have a dual core CPU, but Boinc is still running one task only, there is a setting in your 'general preferences' called something like 'use at most x processors in a multiprocessor system' (set via any project's web site, and then click 'update' in the Boinc manager against that particular project. These settings are shared).

Note that usually the 'multiprocessors' setting starts off at 2 in any case, so Ageless's explanation is probably the correct one :-)

To find the various BBC + CPDN forums, read the following post : http://bbc.cpdn.org/forum_thread.php?id=4818
