OK, it seems simple enough.... but I can't find documentation anywhere about the output of get_simple_gui_info anywhere. Specifically about the time results such as: checkpoint CPU time: 23658.200000 current CPU time: 23698.040000 estimated CPU time remaining: 29047.624362 Are these values in microseconds, milliseconds, hundreds/tenths of a second, seconds or ??? 29047 seconds is 484 hours. It's 20 days.... So I think not seconds... What is it or where is documentation? Any help, Thanks |

Values are in seconds, or down to (meaningless) microseconds after the decimal point. 29047 seconds is 484 minutes, just over 8 hours. Better? |

Instead of using boinccmd, you could get the same time information already converted into hrs:min:sec by using BOINC Manager -> Tasks tab and clicking the properties button after selecting the task of interest. Are you needing to use boinccmd because you are running without a display? Cheers, Gary. |
