At LHC I had removed the ATLAS sub-project from my group, and was suprised, some time later, to see it running an ATLAS. It was suggested by another, Harri Liljeroos, that perhaps I had "if no jobs available, send one that is", or wording to that effect, sure enough, that was set. Is this a bug? It would explain the observation I and another actually, had made. Wave upon wave of demented avengers march cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream. |

The preference option is called If no work for selected applications is available, accept work from other applications? so no, that's not a bug. |

Yes, I see that it is a little pedantic, but I have shown, as clearly as is possible, that I do not want ATLAS tasks because of an issue with them, yet it sent them. There are, however, possibilities here, there may be sub projects I have never heard of for example, not everyone browses the many project sites daily to see what is possible today. In the end, I simply dropped LHC from my projects list. Wave upon wave of demented avengers march cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream. |
