Hopefully, there aren't too many of you out there--but if so, and you're in the same boat I was in (until a few minutes ago), you've probably been unable to post anything here, log in or out of either this site, or the BOINC site, upload your results, or download new ones... Mediacom told me they've been having connectivity issues with Yahoo, as well as certain secure websites... They didn't know why--and didn't know how to fix it when I'd called, but according to them, my connectivity issues here with SETI@Home & BOINC were probably related... Here's what eventually worked for me: Reset your cable modem, and reboot! I did this daily since the 12th when my connection failures began--but as of a few minutes ago--it actually worked... My modem is the Arris 402G Telephony modem--though many other models including some from Motorola are affected... I wish I could have somehow gotten or posted help sooner--but as I said, I was effectively locked out until now... Good luck, fellow users... ___Tklop |
